As a Senior Project Management Finance Controller for New Units, you will report directly to the Head of JB Equipment Controlling. Your primary responsibility will be to support the business in achieving ambitious growth objectives. This role centers on developing and implementing new controls and KPIs to effectively manage an increased business volume across an expanding production footprint.

Your Responsibilities: 
  • Collaborate closely with operational leaders to ensure that robust finance-related processes and controls are established, maintained, and adhered to throughout the company’s expanding production network. 
  • Oversee and ensure the accuracy of accounting for both revenue and costs across multiple legal entities. This requires active cooperation with operational teams, accounting departments, and IT specialists to develop, implement, and continuously improve financial processes. 
  • Lead initiatives to drive consistency in processes and data management across the growing production footprint, ensuring that financial controls are effectively applied to all business activities and workstreams. 
  • Work in partnership with business teams to guarantee that revenue recognition is correctly recorded in the appropriate accounting periods, in alignment with the various milestones of each project. 
  • Streamline and standardize the procedures for booking revenue and costs, particularly for new product lines. 
  • Drive BI and process simplification projects across an increased number of go-to-market legal entities. 
  • Perform detailed, ad-hoc analyses of cost drivers for specific projects or product lines, providing actionable insights to support decision-making. 
Your Profile:
  • Bachelor/Master’s degree in Finance/Accounting/Business Administration 
  • At least 5 years’ experience in a finance or accounting role 
  • Strong understanding of accounting concepts 
  • Excellent Excel skills, experienced with large sets of data. Business Intelligence skills advantageous. 
  • Oracle R12/other ERP experience 
  • Flexible and works well with deadlines 
  • Proactive learner 
  • Clear thinker, problem solving attitude 
  • A valid work permit for Austria is a prerequisite for this position (Non-EU citizens: please attach the work permit to the application)
